Membership

Becoming a member of Triad Next Generation has several benefits including special member pricing at all Triad Next Generation events. Members are also allowed to bring up to two guests, each paying the member rate for the event. To allow members to have spouses, significant others, or play partners 36 or older attend with them, one of the guests may be of any age 18 or over. The second guest can be any age 18 to 35, or you may bring two 18-35 guests. Membership also extends you reciprocal membership with Triangle Next Generation and with CAPEX (Charlotte Area Power Exchange), allowing you to enter their events at the same rate as members of their groups.

Membership dues are expressly for the betterment of Triad Next Generation. They are used for purchasing equipment for the group to broaden the types of play possible at our events, purchasing a book library for member use, and to help cover presenters and other educational opportunities.

Membership dues are $20 for the year and a discounted rate of $16 is available for college students, emergency personnel, and active military with proper identification. Memberships are good from July 1^st through June 31^st of the following year. Memberships are prorated quarterly, so those joining in October or later will pay a reduced fee proportionate with the amount of the membership year remaining.

To become a member, the process is simple. We cover a brief two page orientation, along with our Code of Conduct, Dungeon and Social Protocols, and Dungeon Rules. Already attended a party? Great, this means we just have to cover the orientation with you and complete the final section of your Attendee form already on file. Once the paperwork is completed and you have you have paid, you’re a member.
